2019-2020 STEM Maker Program for 6th - 8th Grade Students
We have another exciting year of Maker workshops planned for students. These workshops are designed to get kids working with their hands and using their creativity to design their own projects. See below for the workshop dates and times. How do I sign up? Class sizes will be limited to 20 students per session. When open, registration forms can be found in "Registration Links" under "Parent Resources" - or simply click the "Registration Links" button to the left! Generally, links will be active on the first school day of each month prior to the workshop. Check the "Upcoming Links" on the Registration page to stay updated. Each Workshop will be offered on a Thursday from 12pm - 3pm or you can choose the Friday from 9am-12pm, As needed an additional, optional "Project Completion Date" will also sometimes be offered. When you register from our website, please choose the date that best fits your schedule. Sign-ups will be on a first-come, first-served basis; you may be placed on a wait list. Flashback to 2017-18 Workshop #1: Screen Printing
In our first workshop of the 2017-2018 school year, students learned a method for making screen printing templates - stencils for applying screen printing dye to fabric, such as a T-shirt, pillowcase, canvas bag, or wall hanging! Students also had an opportunity to experiment with gel printing.
