Project Ideas for Your Materials

Ready to get creative with Shrinky Dink? The possibilities of what you can make are endless!

Before you begin, be sure to read your directions about how to heat your Shrink Film product safely. Next, you will want to lightly sand one side of your sheets of shrinkable plastic so that your colors will adhere and be nice and bright. You will color on the sanded side.

Once you’ve read the information and prepped your shrinkable plastic, it’s time to plan what you will produce and how you will design it. You can draw free-hand or choose a template to fill in using a coloring book or an online printable of a favorite cartoon character, symbol, or artistic design to trace on the Shrink Film sheets.
