Our “mountain families” enjoy the wonderful facility that is our Sonora Resource Center. Conveniently located in East Sonora, this site offers many of the resources and support available at our main campus in Hickman, as well as weekly classes for Tuolumne County students.

We offer families the opportunity for their children to attend our weekly theme-based classes. Based upon our enrollment breakdown for this year, TK-1st; 2nd-3rd/4th attend on Tuesdays; 4th-5th; 6th-8th grade students attend on Thursdays. This affords our home-schooled students social interactions, learning classroom procedures, group PE games; and developing friendships.
The class day starts at 9 am and ends at 1:15. Our program includes music, physical education, art, exploration, and other core subjects to supplement and enrich what is being taught at home. Our school library is growing (we take donations) and is sorted by grade level and labeled for AR points. Our students have built and maintained our school garden, planting each fall and waiting anxiously for harvesting. If students decide to opt-out of participating in our annual Fall program, they can be picked up at noon on class days.
